Letter from the President:

 

 

  Can you even imagine NOT being here for the beautiful spring, friendly people, and so many activities?

Brrrr,the weather in Washington is so cold, and even lots of snow!

 

  The Washington State Club-SCW is buzzing with fun things to do and ways to meet former and current

Washington people. For newcomers, soon Sun city West will have a true "home" feel.

 

  Our main annual event is the fresh Dungeness crab we have flown in from Washington.

The dinner is February 27, 5:30, at Palm Ridge. Reservations are due by 2/20.

directors, or on a committee, please let me know. We welcome you!

 

  We are enjoying the extension of our membership to Sun City, Sun City Grand, and Corte Bella. More friends, more fun!

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE 2019:

CRAB FEED (February 27th):

 

  Break out the crab pickers and warm butter, time for the annual Washington State Club Crab Feed.  Known as the best Crab Feed south of Washington, this is an event you don’t want to miss.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL (April TBA):

 

  Back by popular demand, we will host our annual Member’s Appreciation Ice Cream Social for all paid members. Date/Time/Location to be announced in upcoming newsletters.

 

POTLUCK:

 

(May 1, Beardsley Park #7): We will end our 2019 season with our annual “Good-Bye” Potluck.

 

OPEN BOARD POSITIONS:

 

Public Relationships Director (new position) Work with the Social Director, Internet Manager and President to communicate with our membership, as editor of the newsletter.
